The PRT-7A machine is designed for transportation and continuous surface application of solid organic fertilizers and transportation of various agricultural cargoes with unloading by a conveyor backward.

The machine for applying solid organic fertilizers PRT-7A has a number of obvious advantages in comparison with previously produced machines: due to the change in the spreading device, it crushes the applied fertilizers better; the use of a hydraulic reversible drive of the working conveyor provides smooth stepless regulation of its speed, and, accordingly, the dose of fertilization; the reversible hydraulic drive of the conveyor allows one switch of the tractor hydraulic distributor lever to turn on the reverse motion in case of jamming of the spreading drums by foreign objects; the use of spring-loaded tensioning sprockets in the design increases the reliability of the drive and ensures automatic tension of the drive chains of the spreading drums and an overall improvement in the working conditions of the machine operator; increased lateral stability.
