The PST-24 semi-trailer has a three-axle running system with a front sprung axle with a drawbar, on which a MAZ fifth wheel coupling is installed for coupling with the semi-trailer frame. This is the so-called "trolley", which is a unified device for all our promising trailers and trailed agricultural machines with a lifting capacity of 20 tons and above.

The trolley loads the tractor's drawbar (about 2 tons) by displacing the fifth wheel forward relative to the wheel axis, which increases the tractor's adhesion weight and ensures high cross-country ability of the unit under difficult field conditions. In order to increase the transport speed of semitrailers, the use of a balancing bogie with springs is envisaged.
